Sutton Place is a mid-rise hotel development. This project is 6 storeys tall, located at 5533-6305 Airport Way, Kelowna, BC. Sutton Place will have a total of 245 units.

A new 5 star, 6 storey Sutton Place Hotel was announced on January 25, 2024 and is expected to start the construction in the middle of 2025. 245 suites Hotel, with a restaurant and bar, conference centre, gym and swimming pool will have a European-styled exterior façade with a total gross floor area of approximately 13,888 m² (149,492 ft²). Plans were first mentioned in 2022, but construction on the Hotel hasn't started. Project will include a seven storey parkade to accomodate 1,000 parking stalls, which will increase the airport parking dramatically from 2,400 to 3,200 spots.
The Hotel and the parkade will be conveniently located next to the new terminal building expansion that is currently under construction.
The Sutton Place Hotel will be delivered with a total of 195 surface parking stalls and 1000 in the adjecent parkade (122 stalls in Phase 1) for restaurant, hotel patrons and guests.
The airport surpassed 2,000,000 annual passengers in 2023, even with closures during the peak tourist season due to the McDougall Creek fire in August. This is a record number because it finally outpaces the pre-pandemic numbers for the first time. It's projected that the airport is on its way to 3.5 million passengers in the next decade.

It was announced yesterday for development of the Hotel and Parkade across from the new terminal expansion. Sounds great, but it has already been announced in 2022 and didn't happen, I hope it's not the same fate as the Downtown Hotel.
