Mark Anthony Group's redevelopment project is set to revitalize a vacant heritage facade in downtown Kelowna. This project promises to blend modern living with the historical charm of the neighborhood.

Residential Units: Upscale apartments on the upper three floors, each with private rooftop terraces. Each floor is planned to feature two three-bedroom apartments.

Commercial Space: The ground floor will offer 2,500 square feet of vibrant retail space, ideal for food and beverage establishments or gallery spaces.

Development History

Originally planned as a 12-storey luxury boutique hotel with 72 rooms, the project was revised due to neighborhood feedback and failed agreements with neighbors.

The current four-storey design emerged after a verbal agreement with a neighbor fell through.

Current Status

Kelowna City Council has approved site-specific text amendments to increase the project's density and height.

Preliminary drawings show a commitment to maintaining green spaces and the heritage facade, although final designs are subject to change.

The developer is expected to submit a development permit application, with updated renderings to be presented at that stage.

This is an absolutely beautiful and unique design! It's a shame that they are limited to 4 storeys.

And a new proposal is here, the design looks good. But I still preferred the hotel...
